Here are the services I offer:

Obedience training in the comfort of your home and on your schedule. Crate training, socialization, and teaching good house manners.

• Solving problem behavior on the spot. Helping you with your dog who is:
  1. Digging, chewing, soiling the house, jumping on people
  2. Chasing animals, showing aggression towards dogs, other animals and people
  3. Fearful of dogs, people or situations
  4. Barking
  5. Having problems being alone in the house


• Integrating your new dog in the family
  1. Prepare you and your family bringing the dog home
  2. Establishing good routines from the beginning


• Preparing your dog for a new baby to avoid problems from the start
  1. Help you set boundaries before the baby arrives
  2. Teaching you to keep your baby and dog safe
  3. Help you recognize signs of anxiety in the dog


• Teaching your children to understand and effectively communicate with the dog. This will greatly reduce the risk of biting accidents and help ensure the safety of both children and dog
  1. Helping you teach your children safe play techniques
  2. Teaching your children dog language for them to interact respectfully with the dog.


• Helping you find the best possible match
  1. Helping you choosing your new dog in the shelter, from the litter or previous owner.
  2. Teaching you what to look for in a dog for a successful adoption.


• Preventing and solving problems in the multiple-dog-household. Teaching you how to:
  1. Create and maintain harmony in your group of dogs
  2. Sorting out conflicts between dogs

For breeders I offer temperament testing puppies in the litter to increase successful puppy adoptions.

Consultations

What can you expect during a private training session?

Here is what I will do so you and your pet can have the best relationship possible:

• I will meet you and your dog in your home to get a feel for the situation and to learn about the dog's history.
• We will talk about goals, problems and any other questions or concerns.
• Training session during which you learn how to effectively communicate and work with your dog.
• Various techniques will be discussed to put together a customized package.
• You will receive a personalized written training plan, including email and phone support.
• Last but not least, my help will be non-judgmental and honest

Fees

• Fees are based on the number of training sessions, regardless of the time spent. (I don't watch the clock)
• Standard fees within a 15 miles radius from Corvallis. Additional costs will apply for longer distances to cover travel expenses.
